Founded by Paul "Olly" Butler in 2008 when a gap in the market emerged. Up to that point the only way to get approved work done in the Hampshire, Dorset and Surrey area was to drive your Motorhome to a main dealer or approved workshop, or risk a non-approved repair. Following a 28 year career working for main motorhome dealers, Olly had all of the personal approvals needed to satisfy the manufacturers, dealers and insurers, so Ollyvan (our trusty VW Transporter) equipped as a mobile workshop took to the road. The initial plan was to focus on annual habitation checks for gas, electric and damp, installation of accessories and warranty work.
It became evident after a few years that the water ingress/damp in motorhomes and caravans was a real issue. A workshop facility to specifically address these issues was commissioned and now Olly is one of the only mobile operators with premises to carry out major damp reconstruction work that simply cannot be done successfully on the road, whilst continuing the mobile business.
